Truly if you start walking the holistic path, you will begin to be health conscious, environment conscious, and be more self-aware.
You will start to notice not just personal space but each place you walk into.
Its cleanliness, the quality of air, the scenery, etc.
I stayed in the rural beach area for almost a month last year - there's no noise pollution there, the food is fresh from the garden, the air is pure, the quality of life is simple, organic, and slow-paced.
The surroundings are filled with trees, plants, and flowers.
No wonder why longevity is common in these areas as there are less toxic chemicals, pollutants, and genetically modified organisms produce.
Our mind, body, and soul, when exposed to what is not natural, develop illnesses and diseases - that includes minor ones like simple headaches and dizziness.
Go on a vacation or work from home for a week or more in non commercialized nature spots to really know what it feels like to have organic high quality living.
That's what's worth your money instead of spending them all in ordering Grab food or for Shopee.
The initial benefit is that it is going to be your breather - from months or years of being inside the concrete around the city.
Give your lungs the quality fresh air that it's been deprived of.
Or if more than a week is too much, at least do an effort to go to nature spots every week or every other week.
That's no longer recreational for me but a necessity.
The long term benefit is that you will now have the awareness of what is the best for your health and wellness and ultimately you will develop sense of responsibility for our environment and for wellness which includes speaking up when needed, consuming better products, and knowing what you and your family deserve so you start slow, steady progress to make our cities better place to live.
